    2012 - maintenant -Assisted in the Geological and structural mapping of the Imaloto coal basin, South West Madagascar. Daily
    responsibilities included checking all drilled core at the project drill sites, coal core logging, preparation of
    Geological log sheets, Geotechnical RQD calculations, Graphical log sheet preparation and photography of core.
    · Responsible for conducting important Wire Line logging surveys of drilled boreholes to identify and ascertain
    the density of the coal seam, typically this was unsupervised work. Other responsibilities included the
    coordination and construction of drilling pad locations and Capping of the drilled boreholes.
    · Assisted the cross section and with drill correlation. Conducted Slake test logging and a Seams floor survey
    under the direction of the company’s expat geologist.
    · Preparation of important Coal Samples for international export to South Africa, this included Bagging, Labeling
    and recording the data in the sample ledger.
    · Assisted in processing informatics data by plotting the drill coordinate and using GIS.

  • Sheritt international, Ex Dynatec - Soils Scientist Assistant

    2012 - 2012 Assisted in the Pedological mapping and soil sampling on behalf of Sheritt as part of the Ambatovy annex in Toliara.
    This included laboratory surveys of the soils whilst the analysis included, assessing the PH content, limestone
    content, conductivity electric, salinity, organic materials content and Granulometrie content.

    2012 - 2012 Assisted in the Geographical and geological mapping of the Toliara litorale coast from Soalara sud to
    Andaboy, Sakaraha district and Mikea area, South west Madagascar.
