  2010 - 2011 Launched with 7 people in Sept 2009 only. Today a 55 people group, with results 30% ahead of the business plan and a global coverage on a number of the traded commodities (coal, dry freight, natural gas, LNG (Gunvor now the world’s largest independent LNG trader), carbon emissions & renewables).
  Main roles and responsibilities included managing and overseeing the following teams:
  
  • Treasury – Liquidity –Credit Lines (3.5 people)
  - Set-up, hire and organize all treasury aspects of Business Unit in cooperation with Trading Teams and coordination with Group Treasury team
  - Adapt, increase and maximize existing Group credit lines to address specific requirements of business unit. Maximize collateral management to limit usage of unsecured credit lines and reduce costs.
  - Establish credit lines with new banks willing to finance typical transactions of Business Unit eg. long term supply contract for Coal and LNG, Nat Gas storage
  - Manage the Business Unit working capital requirements, both immediate and planned
  - FX exposure management
  Specific achievements:
  * Successf. structured a large facility for LNG that made “deal of the year” in Global Trade Review 2010
  * Successf. structured a secured financing structure to cover margin requirements for a 3.5Y supply contract.
  
  • Counterparty Credit (2.5 people)
  - Systematic review of new counterparties and recommendations for open account lines
  - Negotiation of credit limits, documentation, …
  - Regular review of counterparties to which open account is granted
  - Margin call process
  Specific team’s achievements:
  * Established the Group and have done business with more than 120 new counterparts since inception with no single loss, established over 70 master agreements on Gas and Power.
  
  • M&A and Project Finance
  - Actively involved in Acquisition and Investments projects, review of cash flow models, site due diligence, coordination with Banks and lawyers.
  
  • Others
  - Coordination with Group Financial controller on certain reporting aspects - improvement of financial processes
  - Director of Company’s Branches in Slovakia and Czech Republic.
  
  Position was offered after Castor was acquired by Gunvor in 2009.
