  • Amesys Conseil (a Bull Group Company) - Software Engineer [@Amadeus]

    2010 - 2013 Amesys Conseil (a Bull Group Company) is a leader in integration and design of high tech critical systems.
    As a Design Engineer for Amesys, I had the opportunity to work as a Sofware Engineer for Amadeus IT.

    Amadeus is a Global Travel Distribution System which offers a wide range of products, from Airline travel distribution, to Car rental, Hotel distribution, Rail distribution and also Insurance distribution.

    My mission as Software Engineer at Amadeus took place in the Cruise and Insurance Development team.

    The main project in which I took part was the migration of the current insurance application from a centralized system, to a distributed architecture.

    2008 - 2010 Amesys Conseil (a Bull Group Company) is a leader in integration and design of high tech critical systems.
    As a Design Engineer for Amesys, I had the opportunity to work as a Functional Analyst for Amadeus IT.

    Amadeus is a Global Travel Distribution System which offers a wide range of products, from Airline travel distribution, to Car rental, Hotel distribution, Rail distribution and also Insurance distribution.

    My mission as functional analyst at Amadeus took place in the Insurance Product Definition team.

    During those 2 years, I performed the following tasks:
    - As a project manager, I have implemented connections between 10+ Insurance companies and Amadeus in order to distribute their products to all travel agencies.
    - As a technical consultant, I contributed to the integration of Insurance offers within 10+ existing airline websites connected to Amadeus making sure that distribution and payment solutions were properly used.
    - As a functional analyst, I wrote technical specifications based on the analysis of the customers' needs and performed functional validation of the improvements delivered.
    - As a 3rd level of support, I was directly in contact with our Insurance providers and online/offline clients.

  • GE Healthcare - Project Manager

    2007 - 2008 General Electric Healthcare is a leader in Technical imaging and Information technologies, medical diagnostics and monitoring systems. In Buc (Paris area), the latest technologies for mammography are being created.

    Within the mammography technical editors team, my job was to study the feasibility of a document management platform migration.
    I studied the consequences of moving from a local to a centralized document management system under the following aspects:
    - From a technical point of view, functionalities had to be created and prototypes have been designed in order to ensure that the efficiency of editors would not be impacted.
    - From a functional point of view, document sharing and collaborative edition was introduced and I had to make sure that workflows were put in place in order to prevent conflicts.

    Another particularity of this project was its international dimension: I had the chance to lead a development team in India, work with partners in Europe and report to the headquarters in the US.

    2007 - 2007 Altran TEM Project Office, located in Levallois-Perret (Paris Area), handles projects at fixed rate for the Telecom, Eletronic and Media branch of Altran.

    My task was to perform an audit of their information system.
    From pre-sales to the product delivery, all roles and data were audited and modelled in order to produce suggestions for improvement.

  • Digital SK - Software Engineer/Web developer

    2005 - 2006 Based in Brasil, DigitalSK offers solutions to deploy eLearning platforms and contents within companies and organizations.

    At DigitalSK, I took part in the edition, integration and distribution of eLearning contents at various levels:
    - At edition level, I extended an existing eLearning oriented Open Source CMS (SCENARI) in order to enable editors to create new types of contents.
