I have a diploma in Computer and Industrial Control and a Masters of Research in Image Processing. I am currently accomplishing my last year of PhD in the National Institute of Agricultural Research; my project aims to define a Multi-Spectral imaging sensor for vineyard disease detection by UAV.
During the last 2 years of PhD, I have been doing a lot of research and I acquired solid knowledge in different areas: from performing dimension reduction (feature selection/extraction) to mastering Visible/Near-Infrared Spectroscopy, accomplishing texture analysis and applying many classification techniques. I have also learned a lot about Remote Sensing of crop status, about geometric/radiometric calibrations and registration of Multi-Spectral images.
Now that the final deadline is in sight, I am actively looking for an exciting opportunity starting January 2019 and I am open for any proposition.
