Systeme de remuneration et avantages des expatries de Placer Dome en Tanzanie (économie de 15% sur les coûts expatries)

Restructuration Sociale et Juridique de Carrier France, intégration de 4 filiales, renégociation et signature des accords sociaux et redéploiement des institutions représentatives du personnel.
3 plans sociaux dans des filiales d’IPS en Côte d’Ivoire et licenciement collectif a Frontier. Dans les deux cas, 300 personnes ont été licenciées dans un climat social et politique serein et en conformite avec la legislation du travail.
Rétablissement des relations industrielles à Lear Corporation, usine de Cergy. La reprise du dialogue avec les syndicats (CGT majoritaire) dans un contexte très tendu, a redonne confiance au client PSA qui a décidé en 2004 de confier la confection des sièges de ses projets 207 et 1007 a l’Usine de Cergy.

    2012 - 2014 Head of Human Resources of African-Minerals, based in Sierra Leone
    African-Minerals operates the iron ore mine of Tonkolili and the shipping facilities of Pepel (Sierra Leone)
    Production of 15Mio tons of ore per year, with an objective of 20 Mio tons capacity at end of Q2 2013, 3600 Employees (including 700 expatriates)

    Redesign and implement the Organizational Structure (global, corporate and in the operational BUs), the rewards and compensation and benefits policy and system and design and create from scratch a performance management system and implement them all across the board

    Implement from scratch the SAP HCM HR Information System

    Change the HR Structure (Corporate and Operations) and create an HR Centre of Excellence in the London Corporate Office

    The redesign was completed in only 6 months and the implementation is on-going. The HRIS is going live after only 6 months design, tests and validation by the provider.

    As a result of the Centre of Excellence being active, an estimate of 300,000 GBP per month has been saved in recruiting for the Corporate Structures and the BUs since January 2013.

    Redundancy of 110 employees (in the London Headquarters and expatriates in Sierra Leone) as part of the restructuring and reorganization of the Company and cost savings initiative.

  • Nordgold - SMD Lefa - Directeur des Ressources Humaines

    2011 - 2012 Administration and Human Resources Director of SMD Lefa Gold Mine, based in North East of Guinea, production 250,000 oz of gold per year, Turn Over 450,000 US$, 2200 Employees (including 110 Expatriates).

    SMD Lefa Gold Mine was very recently taken over by Nordgold and I was hired in this occurrence to completely restart the HR and Administration activities in line with Nordgold standards.
  • Benghazi Medical Center - DENOS Health Management - Chief Human Resources Officer

    2009 - 2011 Chief Human Resources Officer of the Benghazi Medical Center (BMC – a Public Tertiary Teaching 1,200 beds Hospital, 5,500 employees) and HR Director of DENOS Health Management, based in Benghazi (Libya).
    DENOS is a Consulting Firm contracted to provide Management, Medical and Technical assistance to the BMC on a 5 years contract.

    Mission:

    - Design, negotiation and implementation of the new mixed French - Libyan structure of the BMC
    - Creation and implementation of the HR policies and procedures for the expatriate DENOS Management and Medical staff
    - Change the HR policies, procedures and structure in place at the BMC. Design and implementation of the new ones
    - Sourcing, recruitment and mobilization of the expatriate staff for the BMC (Management Team, Surgeons, Doctors, Technicians, Nurses and Allied Health)
    - Implementation of the Performance Management System of the BMC
    - Administration of the immigration and settlement of the expatriate staff in Benghazi

    Member of the BMC Executive Committee in charge of all aspects of the HR Function with
    direct supervision on 7 HR Managers and 18 HR Officers

    Montluel 2006 - 2006 This 6 months mission (end July 2006) was focused on Social Relations and HR organisation.
    The four Companies were very recently merged to create a global supplier for EMEA. The purposes of the mission were to:
    Create, implement, monitor and develop the new Personnel Representation Institutions (Central Work Council and Unions Reps, European Work Council) born with the merging
    Negotiate all the labour contracts and agreements (profit sharing, salaries, bonuses and incentives, working time, social schemes, pension plans, ….) that became obsolete due to the consolidation and implement the new ones.
    Design and implement the new perimeter HR organisation and global HR policies
