  Paris 2015 - 2017 Project1:
  Characterization and modeling of the sedimentary and stratigraphic architecture of Miocene clinoforms preserved on the New Jersey continental shelf.
  
  This project comprises (1) the compilation and re-interpertation of IODP results, and (2) numerical modeling of Miocene sequences using the Dionisos software.
  
  
  Project 2:
  Sedimentological and stratigraphic architecture of the Nicobar Fan and its link to the Bengal fan and Ganges-Brahmaputra sedimentary system
  
  This project comprises (1) sailing onboard the R/V JOIDES Resolution to collect the data, (2) the detailed facies analysis of cores and borehole data, (3) evaluating the role of the Nicobar fan in the sedimentary system.
  
  
  Side activities:
  - co-supervision of grad students.
  - involvement in submarine paleoseismology project along the Ecuador subduction margin

  2012 - 2014 High resolution stratigraphy and sedimentology of a Lower Cretaceous heavy oil sands reservoir, the Grand Rapids Formation in the Cold Lake Area, East Central Alberta, Canada:
  
  • In charge of a 18-month research project that includes the co-supervision of a M.Sc. student.
  • Description and interpretation of 1000 m of cores and ~800 wells over a 200 km2 area.
  • Stratigraphic correlations of well logs, determination of reservoir facies (marine sands, distributary channels) and internal heterogeneities.
  • Mapping of reservoir bodies, reconstruction of depositional history.
  • Regional correlation and synthesis over a 400 km2 area.

  Paris 2012 - 2012 Shipboard Scientist onboard the R/V Atalante - CNRS/IRD Expedition ATACAMES:
  
  • Acquisition of high-resolution seismic-reflection profiles, chirp profiles, and piston cores of trench-slope basins of the central segment of the Ecuador margin.
  • Interpretation of seismic profiles.
  • Description and sampling of cores.

  • Description of sediment cores, facies analysis, age dating of sediments (14C, tephrochronology).
  • Detailed sedimentological characterization of cm-thick turbidites (grain size, petrography, micropaleontology, geochemistry) and chrono-stratigraphic correlations along the margin.
  • Identification of the triggering mechanisms of turbidity currents (climate, tectonic, volcanism).
  • Establishement of a 20 ka calendar of Mw≥7.3 paleo-earthquakes from turbidite stratigraphy.

  • Update of the sedimentary and diagenetic model based on regional studies, cores and well logs.
