  MOIE SIC Terre is an ambitious program, launched by the French Ministry of Defense (MoD) in early 2005, aimed at providing a common shared platform (CSP) to the French Army that will make the digitalization of battlefield possible. The platform itself, to be developed by Thales and EADS DSC under a 230 million Euro contract, will use extensively IP-based communications technology to match the high demanding requirements of the French Army.
