    Bousbecque 2012 - 2015 Main objective is to lead the global product development organization for the Wallcover market (focus in Europe, Asia and north America) segment. The position manages all development activities and development resources to achieve the business strategy along with its short and long term goals. Active role in portfolio management and close collaboration with customers, Product Management, Supply Chain, Technical Customer Service and Ahlstrom Sales.
  • Valspar - Technical Manager - Food Coatings Packaging Europe – Tournus (FR)

    Boston 2009 - 2012 • Department which represents $55 Million budget.
    • Managed R&D team (6 chemists) and Maintenance of Business team (9 chemists) in 3 different locations: Tournus (FR), Barcelona (SP) and Grüningen (CH).
    • Responsible for external presentations regarding Valspar strategic Technology developments to customers (Crown, Ardagh, Can Pack, Mivisa, Massilly…) and end users (Nestle, Mars, Bonduelle…).
    • Responsible for internal presentations to the Global Packaging Business Leadership Team and EMEAI Business Leadership Team.
    • Experienced with global project management systems with global metal packaging new development.
    • Brown Belt (DfLSS) 4 weeks training in the states.
  • Valspar - Technical Manager – Can Coatings Packaging Europe – Tournus (FR)

    Boston 2005 - 2011 • Department which represents $60 Million budget.
    • Managed R&D and maintenance of Business laboratory (6 chemists) in Tournus (FR).
    • Major achievements were internal and external water-based products formulation to increase our beverage can coatings portfolio and market share.

    Boston 2004 - 2005 • Responsible for creating low molecular weight species detection and identification method acetonitrile extracted from epoxy phenolic coatings by LC-MS.
    • Experienced with other analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, IR)
  • Valspar - Research Chemist– Resin R&D Group – Tournus (FR)

    Boston 2001 - 2004
    • Synthesis of Epoxy, Acrylic, Polyester and derivated resins to formulate internal coatings for beverage can and food can coatings.
  • Valspar - Research Technician – General Packaging Group – Nantes (FR)

    Boston 1997 - 2001 • Formulation and scale-up of external waterborne modified polyester dispersion varnish for general packaging application.
    • Formulation and scale-up of internal solvent borne epoxy coating for 3Pc food cans and regular ends.
    • Experienced with customer technical service for line trials assistance.
