  - Provide Chemical Engineering technical support to Plant Manager and ensure that longer term and detailed technical issues are identified and resolved

  - Ensure the interface with other Ineos sites / Labs to help identifying and resolving plant issues

• INEOS Technologies - Process Engineer

  2008 - 2015 Polyethylene gas phase Process Engineer
  Main missions:
  * Licensing Technical service:
  * Responsible for technical support and service for a licensee in Egypt. ;
  * Plant audit and troubleshooting
  
  * Industrial plant support (Germany) - plant capacity: 200 ktpa ;
  * Key technical contact with the plant manager ;
  * Close support to production campaigns (campaign preparation, follow up and
  analysis)
  * Plant troubleshooting and optimization (process parameters, transitions, new grades
  integration in the product wheel...)
  * Technical exchange with plant manager concerning recent R&T projects
  achievements
  * Several weeks (3 to 8 per year) spent on site to work in close collaboration with the
  plant operators and manager.
  
  * R&T project support:
  * Process expert for Metallocene technology ;
  * Pilot plant campaigns support for Metallocene and other technologies (campaign
  preparation, follow up, technical recommendations and analysis): new products
  development, test of new catalysts...
  
  * Plants debottlenecking studies:
  * Contributor to a successful study for degassing train improvement for an existing
  plant.
  * Work in collaboration with the team in charge of debottlenecking study for a licensee
  in order to ensure the technology transfer and the learning from our plants (pilot and
  industrial).
  
  * Plant commissioning (India):
  * Member of commissioning team as a technology expert and process support.
  10 weeks spent on site.
  
  * Support during plant startup and technology transfer to the client
  
  * Process Design Package support:
  * Analyze and scale up pilot plant trials to convert results into industrial design. ;
  * Technical exchange with the teams in charge of the new plants design concerning the
  recent R&T work achievements and the learnings from the Ineos industrial plant in
  Germany.
  * Preparation of operating guidelines for new projects.
  
  * Proposals support: Work in collaboration with the commercial team to prepare technical
  offers for new Polyethylene plants for a capacity ranging from 300 to 600 ktpa.
