    2003 - 2005 From 2003 to 2005 Teldata – A system integrator dealing with networking products in LAN and WAN environments

    In charge of Pre Sales organisation for secure high end products, developing new customers (mainly research , health care, ISP, banking & education) and pushing key differences in the L3 environment, L4-L7 environment, & wireless networks: I am working mainly in Routing solutions, Security, VoWifi, Radius, LDAP and AD interoperability, bandwidth management and Third party management interoperability.

    My Primary responsibilities within Teldata:
    - In charge of supporting the local Sales team
    - Performing product / technology presentations to customers
    - Assisting in network design
    - In charge of end users trainings for Aruba & Extreme
    - Performing On Site field trials
    - Upgrading customer site as the product evolves
    - Supporting other members of the technical staff
    - Supporting, coordinating and prioritizing problem resolution in close relationship with manufacturers.

    Products supported: Extreme, Foundry, Aruba, Avocent, Ingrian & Perle.
  • Extreme Networks - Regional coordinator

    NEUILLY SUR SEINE 1998 - 2003 Extreme Networks – A leading vendor of L3 switching product with QoS – Growing from 50M$ to +600M$

    I was Senior Consultant for Benelux, Switzerland, France in close relationship with the Sales team based in Holland and the European head in Benelux

    My role and responsibilities while at Extreme networks included:
    - Starting the French subsidiary from scratch
    - Establishing first customer references: Very first wins was Free.fr, still one of the biggest ISP in France and INRIA, the French Governmental Research Organisation in France
    - Initializing new reseller partnerships
    - Managing customer transitions from 3Com “Enterprise Spin-off” to Extreme
    - Organisation and delivery of marketing activities for the region ( partner conferences ,events, exhibitions, products presentations translations)
    - High level technical trainings on QoS, Security, Routing & Management for major accounts in France.
  • 3Com - Pre sales, trainer, consultant, evangelist

    1989 - 1998 3Com – A leading vendor of L1-L3 switching and routing products – $6 Billions Turnover

    1996 to 1998 – I was Technical Manager Middle East & Africa

    - Technical Manager for emerging business with ASP in Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Cost, Israel and South Africa
    - Product Launch in Client Access, Enterprise and Carrier Business Unit: Organisation of End-Users seminars, pre sales & technical trainings, network design using new products and field trials at customer sites with local ASP.

    1992 to 1996 – I was Pre-Sales support

    - Part of the “L3 switching world-wide evangelists” team for 3rd generation products
    - In charge of supporting the 3Com France Sales Team
    - In charge of Sales training for Advanced System Partners.

    1989 to 1992 – I was Training Manager

    - Creation of the French 3Com training Center & Trainer for Lan & WAN courses
    - More than 1000 customers trained with TCP/IP, SNMP, Bridging, Routing and Management courses.

    Products supported: NetBuilders family (WAN), Lanplex and Cellplex family (legacy LAN and ATM).
  • MEMOREX - TELEX - Technical support

    1986 - 1989 MEMOREX TELEX – An IBM Compatible peripherals manufacturer - $1,5 Billion

    I was marketing Product Manager for IBM 3270 & Twinax workstations

    - Involved for product selection during the merge between Continental Leasing, Memorex & Telex
    - In charge of supporting Sales teams for new emerging workstation solution
    - Corporate reporting of French activity on « workstation business »
    - Creation of a European technical database for post sales supports and important reduction of customer’s post sales support calls.
