Jean-Florent Rérolle is a partner of KPMG Corporate Finance. He specializes in fairness opinions, business valuation, value based management, financial marketing and board advisory services. He is on the finance experts' list of the Paris Court of Appeal (Expert près la Cour d'Appel de Paris en Finance).
From 1995 to 2004, he was a partner at Ernst & Young which he joined in 1991, and from 2005 to 2011, he was Managing Director at Houlihan Lokey, co-head of Financial Advisory Services in Europe. He is the founder of VienGi, a value based management consulting firm.
He is one of the founders and member of the board of the Institut Français des Administrateurs and of the Société Française des Evaluateurs ( French Society of Valuation Experts). He was a member of several AMF task forces (fairness opinions, Audit committees, valuation profession).
Since 1994, Jean-Florent Rérolle has lectured in 3 major French Business schools (HEC, ESCP-Europe, ENSAE) on Corporate Finance. He teaches Financial Governance at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. He is also an author of many articles where he dealt with new valuations techniques, valuation in the connected economy, corporate governance and value based management issues. He co-authored the IFA "vade-mecum for board members".
He received his education at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (1981) with an emphasis in Public Administration, Law and Economics. He got a Pre-doctoral degree in Defense Policy, at Paris I-Sorbonne (1982) and he holds the MBA of HEC Group (1991).
