Jean-François NEU

COLMAR

En résumé

I have been passionate about aviation since very young, I spent 5 years working in multiple temporary jobs to finance my project. In 2014, during my participation in the 57th edition of the “Hop! Tour des Jeunes Pilotes”, I was appointed Aviation ambassador with 40 young pilots for the French Aeronautical Federation.

In 2017, I achieved my ATPL theory, CPL and MEIR with first time passes. In 2018, I completed my Boeing 737 300-900 type rating course and later that year I joined the AirBaltic team as B737 first officer. Flying across northern and eastern European countries, as well as Ukraine and Russia, I gained some valuable experience in low visibility procedures and winter operations.

In January 2020, I was selected by ASL Airlines France to join their team and I accomplished their OCC in March. Currently on standby due to COVID-19 crisis, I am seeking for a new first officer position.

Furthermore, I'm passionate about filmmaking, photography and outdoor sports (i.e rock climbing). I read science magazines and follow space explorations like Artemis, the NASA's lunar exploration program.

My next targets... to be back in a cockpit of an airliner, to perform a flight on a fighter plane and to make short films using aerial shooting about nature, wildlife and adventure sports.
