    Geneva 2010 - 2016 Background:
    • 350 PCs, 40 Printers, 72 Virtual servers with centralized backup.
    • 200 digital radios, 300 fix phones VoIP, 200 Mobile phones,10 interconnected sites, 7 VSAT links, Intranet, worldwide WAN. Archive service.
    Main goals assigned:
    • Provide and support all applications, IT needs in compliance with end-users expectations and corporate policy.
    • Proposing an IT strategy to help the company to speed up his business.
    • Reorganizing the IT Department in a more efficient way.
    • Increasing skills and performances of IT staff.
    • Stabilizing and improving IT infrastructure.
    • Putting in place a relevant user’s support (too many issues and complaints).
    • In charge of IT Quality program throughout Addax Group.

    Main actions performed:
    • Define the IT general policy, put in place a quality (ISO 9001:2015) + ITIL v3 approach (Processes, procedures, RACI matrix, KPIs, etc…).
    • Put in place a Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
    • Important initiatives and investments to improve infrastructure and reduce costs:
     Data Centre with disaster recovery site, Data backup centralized system, IPBX (CISCO Manager), satellite provider, printer software management and maintenance contract, Lease lines (Microwave and Fiber Optical links, etc..
     Payroll (SAGE) and Maintenance (COSWIN) software improvement, Data Management for Archive.
     Replace analogue radios by digitals ones.
     Put in place a new Fix phone system (Cisco call manager) interconnected with Addax group phone system and integrated voice/data and digital radios. Improve phone fleet management.
    Outcomes:
    • Provided an IT strategy and action plan over 5 years in accordance with the Corporate IT and local Management policies. The related transformation plan has been fully achieved with success.
    • Decreasing the number of helpdesk incident of 70% in 3 years.
    • Improvement of IT general availability from 92% in 2010 to 99,11.
    • Cost saving of 0.7 mlm per year.

     Proposing a strategy to help the company to speed up his business.
