The initial project was an informative work about the critical issue of water in the Mediterranean Basin, including the ins and outs in the economical, social, political and health fields. But it soon evolved to become an international project, involving many students around the Mediterranean Basin. I became Youth Water Ambassador, then Coordinator of the Mediterranean Union of Youth Ambassadors of Water (UMJAE), and was asked to travel to Lebanon by the Lebanese Water and Energy Ministry, to set a field study around Beirut, implement a newly released hydrologic software called STRATEAU, and write a report for the Ministry. But moreover, I permanently had to take into account the economical context to adapt my conclusions as an engineer, working with local specialists. Thanks to the success of the project, the team has been invited to the French Presidency to present our actions. Besides, the project is growing: ten new students are now fully involved in it. I acquired a considerable experience in working with multifunctional and multicultural team.
