  • Cognex - Application Engineer

    2004 - 2007 I was in charge of the support of our sales force and our customers by doing:
    - Feasibilities : find out if an application works, and if yes, how, what configuration in terms of vision systems, lighting and optics is required.
    - Demonstrations/Seminars to customers. It can be one to one, to an audience (technical or not)
    - On site trial. To proof that a system works. This requires an installation on the production line.
    - On site assistance. Once the system is sold, and in order to help customer during installation phase, I spent time on the production and/or in office to develop and to install the vision systems.
    - Trainings: I also provided trainings, (on site or at cognex). Maximum class size was 12 people.

  • Cognex - Applications Engineering Manager Southern Europe

    2001 - maintenant Managing a team of 8 Application Engineers, located in France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and Turkey. We cover Southern Europe, including, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Northern African Countries, Turkey, Israel, Egypt, South Arabia, Libanon.
    Our mission is to provide support to our sales force and customers, for feasibilities, demonstrations, seminars and trade shows, on site assistance, applications developments and trainings.
    I am also responsible for the technical part for vertical market at European level.

  • Cognex - Technical Support Engineer

    2001 - 2004 Technical support (hotline) for the direct business on all the Cognex product range. Development of module or piecs of applications.
    I was also in charge of providing training, at Cognex facilities or on site.

  • Europixels - Technical Support Engineer

    1998 - 2001 Presales and Postsales customer support. I was in charge of feasibilities, demonstrations, software developments and hotline on all the procduct range, including cameras, frame grabber and vision libraries.
