Customer Support :
• Was in charge of engine performances evaluation programs for new-coming customers ;
• Defined injection systems configurations and develop engines strategy & calibrations ;

Generic Development :
• Provided test bench / test track to find an optimal balance between engine performance, emissions and fuel economy to achieve the US Tier2Bin2 standards with prototype Diesel engines (HCCI combustion, HP+LP EGR system, exhaust Variable Valve Lift) ;
• Implemented an improvement plan for piezo injector to fit high flow and very high performances engines : injection strategy & mechanical design (hydraulic, nozzle, seat angle, holes) ;
• Developped a new mode of combustion to achieve the Euro 6 standards without using after-treatment systems.

- Vibration Analysis Engineer

• Defined methods and equipments to balance the new generation of engines branded “Silvercrest” ;
• Performed analytical investigation to study the amplitude of vibrations of an unbalanced rotor passing through its 2nd and 3rd critical speeds (> 20.000 erpm) ;
• Produced, in collaboration with Schenck SAS, a small-scale model of the HP rotor to visualize the physical phenomena while going through the 2nd critical speed.

• Carried out the static analysis of the following engines :
- BMW NG6 3.0l (195 kW / 315 Nm)
- Volkswagen BLG 1.4l TSI (125 kW / 240 Nm)
- Renault K9K 1.5l dCi (78 kW / 240 Nm) ;
• Business trip to AVL (AUSTRIA) to supervise the test bed benchmark of the 3.0 L (200 kW) CR DI inline 6-cylinder Diesel engine with 2 stage turbo charging system installed in the BMW 535d ;
• Conducted a specific study on BMW’s fully-variable valve control system “Valvetronic”.
