    2007 - maintenant ECS is part of the Group Société Générale and is an expert in Technology Finance.
    The company has 65 offices in 16 countries and has more than 12.000 customers of every size and in all industries.
    They offer ongoing support in managing IT systems.

    There was no Marketing structure in the UK subsidiary before I joined, and I was recruited to build up a Marketing Function, and to be the point of contact between the Head Office in France and the UK.


    — Development and monitoring of the Marketing function for the UK and Ireland
    — Preparation of the annual Marketing Plan in line with the European Marketing Strategy (adaptation to the UK market)
    — Management of the Marketing/Communication/Training budget for UK and Ireland
    — Management of the Customer Database
    — Optimisation of the Prospect Database for Business Development purposes
    — CRM and Direct Marketing
    — Management of the UK corporate website and Intranet tools
    — Business Intelligence and Market research
    — Developement of literature specific to the UK target audience
    — Development of a Marketing Strategy for Services
    — member of the Committee for Quality (ISO certifications monitoring): implementation of Group quality policies to the UK
    — organisation of high profile events (Customer events, Sales incentives, seminars...)
    — regular business trips to the Head Office in La Defense for meetings and workshops
    — coordination of the induction/training programme for new starters
    (the Academy : intensive Sales training for new starters and refreshers)

  • Energy Saving Trust - Senior Marketing Executive (LONDON, UK)

    2006 - 2007 The Energy Saving Trust is part-funded by the Government and is the leading organisation tackling climate change from the energy angle.
    They operate through a network of Advice Centres which provides free and impartial information to consumers.


    — support the Marketing Manager in all aspects of Marketing and Communication through a network of 46 advice centres in the UK
    — develop pieces of literature along with various materials to support the Marketing activities
    — brand management, compliance with brand guidelines
    — event coordination, from the first stages of planning until managing the proceedings on the ground (Grand Design Show, Conferences, workshops, sponsored events…)

    => I received a recognition award (one-off bonus) for my work in organising and coordinating the participation of EST at the Ideal Home Show in London (Oct 2006).

    — rolled out EST’s Segmentation Model across the network and measured impact
    — coordination between agencies and PR Department, senior management, other Departments across the organisation
  • RENAULT UK (Dealer Group REAGROUP UK) - Group Marketing Assistant (LONDON, UK)

    2005 - 2006 => assisted the Marketing Manager and Commercial Director in the day-to-day running of the Marketing Functions

    — involved in the Online Marketing strategy and analysed the results of that activity
    — managed the relationships with agencies (Media buying agency, Creative agency, CRM agency...), agency briefings and contact reports
    — carried out data analysis and reporting to measure the efficiency of campaigns
    — involved in the management of the name change of the automotive dealer Group owned by Renault : internal video, Group launching event, communication tools, rebranding of the website...
    — was in charge of the Customer Referral Programme and follow-up
    — participated in Direct Mail programmes
    — responsible for completion of the Internal Marketing & Commercial Newsletter
    — involved in the database management : segmentation, extraction, reports
    — coordinated the Marketing activity between the Head Office and the 22 Branches
    — dealt with any Branch request that arose on a daily basis

    2003 - 2005 => full-time job in parallel to my full-time course of study in Rouen (not part of the course, personal initiative)

    => used to work from home (managed my time freely to juggle with my studies) and go to the office in Paris once a week (strong organisation and prioritisation skills)

    => Columnist / journalist, Communication and Marketing for the weekly edition

    — in charge of the weekly page “Blocnotes” (column directed to a student readership : cultural, sports, recruitment events) and of the related section of the corporate website

    — worked under pressure to meet tight deadlines
    — wrote articles for the paper and for the website
    — proof-reading and sign off of artwork
    — managed the partnerships with entities organising events (festivals, associations, collectivities, clubs, charities, Universities, recruitment fairs...)
