ERAMET is a world leader in alloying metals, particularly manganese and nickel, and in high-quality metallurgy. The Group employs about 15,000 people in 20 countries.
ERAMET, through its subsidiary COMILOG, is the world's second-largest producer of high grade manganese ore. COMILOG operates the mine at Moanda in Gabon.
SETRAG, a subsidiary of COMILOG is the railway operator running the Transgabonais Railway transporting mineral ores and logs in addition to being the only important public transport route in Gabon. It employs 1,300 persons.
My role includes following tasks:
- Interim of Financial Director ;
- Improvement of internal control environment over purchasing process, stocks and assets management, treasury and credit management, budgeting process, accounting department… (drafting and implementation of standard operating procedures, training, revision of the organisation chart of financial direction, change management) ;
- Design of cost accounting methodology ;
- Development of software interfaces (Sage, Abel, Carl Source) ;
- Forensic audit; Financing projects; Dealing with tax authorities…
