I’m working in switzerland since 3 years in statistics and datamining for Redcats (La Redoute, Vertbaudet, ellos, One Stop Plus...).
I’ve started my studies in mathematics field (I wanted to become teacher first) and then I reoriented to the statistics (I got a degree in Statistics and Business Intelligence) where I’ve learned a lot about how to create and manage a database, how to extract data and how to interpret figures. To finish my degree I’ve done a work experience at Auchan (13th world commercial distributor, 2nd in France behind carrefour) as data analyst; after this I’ve been working in Paris for 3 months as Business Intelligence consultant wher I’ve developped web applications based on Infor MPC for the SNCF (national railway company in france). After this I’ve decided to move to switzerland where I’m currently working as database manager for Vertbaudet, this consists in producing many statistical analysis, exploit information about the different results and suggest optimizations for the commercial plan, definition of the budgets, phasing per week, per catalog and per operation, selection of customers who will receive the commercial plan...
I use to work with databases using SQL and SAS, I’ve spent much time working on the automation of all the reports in Excel (optimization of existing reports, development of new reports, automation using VBA to get a ’friendly user interface’...)
