I focus on processes and alloys for which the solidification step is the key phenomenon between materials and properties, e.g. investment & near net shape casting, DC casting, welding, etc.
I have settled down at the Institut Jean Lamour in 2010, in the research group "solidification" (Pr. H Combeau) of the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Science & Engineering. My current interest goes to the joining of dissimilar materials - possibly under extreme conditions.
