LEGAL ADVISOR IN MARINE INSURANCE AND AVIATION LAW/ LOGISTIC RESPONSIBLE WITHIN « COMPANY MEDITERANEENNE D’ASSURANCE ET DE REASSURANCE COMAR ».
Since July 2006: senior legal advisor and head of insurance law department (within indeterminate term contract).
Job description:
• Expert in marine, aviation and multimodal transport law.
• Trainer within the company in the law of transport and logistics.
• Experience in international sale of goods and remedies (the international contract of sale, implied terms, international contract terms…)
• Insure the administrative tasks concerning the life of the company (company law...) including the labour law related to the syndicates.
• Responsible of insurance transport law department
• Responsible of five associates team
• Management of the disasters related to sea, air or multimodal transport.
• Litigation and arbitration.
• To manage the contentious pre-phase.
• Drafting of insurance policies and negotiation of the clauses of contract in addition to the management of the insurance policies of great scale (Tunisian fleet companies and oil units of drillings…)
• Coordination with the reinsures in the event of great disaster and negotiation and development of the reinsurance exchanges.
• To exert the recourse on behalf of the company against the third parties responsible after payment of the allowance due by the policy-holder

• To conclude and decide amicable settlement.
• Full contentious management of files.
• Drafting of all the memories of audience (audience by audience) with the follow-up which goes with.
• To communicate our instructions with the lawyers partners of the company.
• Development of the methods and procedures of work
• To give a report of all the important files to the general services
• To assist the top management as for the implementation of the general policy of the company concerning the branch insurance transport
• Management of the portfolio customer.
• Drafting of the statement and assistance to general meetings.
• To advise as regards the risks relating to the acquisitions, mergers and sales.
