    2008 - maintenant CONTEXT
    TECHNIP HOUSTON resident inspector for the flexible pipe manufacturing plant TECHNIP FLEXI-FRANCE located in France – Normandy.
    Both entities are part of the Technip group. Flexi-France is considered as the supplier of flexible pipe.

    TARGET
    • Be the client representative on site.
    • Control technical specification and Technip Houston requests.
    • Provide a detailed daily report for each project.
    • Follow the NCR treatment (classification, corrective action).

    ACTIONS
    Since 2008, various projects have been successfully managed. Sub-suppliers have been inspected to ensure ancillary equipment quality.

    RESULTS & EFFICIENCY
    For over 3 years, I provide to Technip Houston satisfaction through a strong and good daily reporting. I have been involved in more than 15 projects within 3 years.
  • ACERGY - Quality Lead Auditor

    2007 - 2008 CONTEXT
    In the beginning of 2007, a new supplier’s qualification program was launched in AFMED department. The most critical suppliers and sub-contractors were identified, submitted and validated by the corporate members.

    TARGET
    • Be compliant with ISO 9001:2000 Standards.
    • Improve the suppliers’ quality management.
    • Create and/or develop a long term partnership with the selected suppliers and sub-contractors.
    • Update the current suppliers’ data base.
    • Sourcing of new suppliers.
    • Share all audits results with the others Acergy regions.

    ACTIONS
    • Plan and organize audits with the relevant department (Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Supply Chain Management).
    • Lead the Audits according to international standards and internal requirements.
    • Follow the corrective actions and their efficiency when needed.
    • Support Supply Chain Management in suppliers’ selection and sourcing activities.

    RESULTS & EFFICIENCY
    Audits mostly took place in Italy, UK, Holland or Nigeria. Different activities and products were audited, such as :
    Forging, Coating (concrete, FBE...), JLay Collar, Valves (Ball valves, Gate Valves, Top & Side entry, cage valves...), Steel makers, Heat treatment process, Connectors).
    In 6 months, the following companies were audited: Cooper Cameron, Howco, Galperti, FAD, La Forgiatura di Bolate, La Forgia Moderna di Arese, Ringmill, Socotherm, Bredero, Willbros, Ring’o Valves, Meca,Riganti, ASO, Vetco Gray / Vetco Aibel, Mondial Tempra, Barattieri, Sorbit, Inoxfucine, Pivibiesse, Petrolvalve.

    According to Acergy’s request, I proposed a new audit method with checklist. It has been submit and validate by the corporate management.
    To implement this new method, I created a training course and trained all the relevant employees (engineer, technicians, and buyers).
  • Eikos Services (Moody) - Oil & Gas Inspector FreeLance

    2007 - 2008 CONTEXT
    Eikos Services is a free-lance agency located in UK. It is part of the international Moody Group.
    Performed inspections for the major companies of the Oil & Gas Industry (Technip, Bets, Shell...).

    TARGET
    • Be the client representative.
    • Control technical specification and client requests.
    • Create a partnership relation with the supplier when it is long-term contract.
    • Provide in short time a completed update report to the client.
    • Stay available for each client.

    ACTIONS
    From 2007 to 2008, various inspection have been performed:
    • Forgings
    • Valves
    • Load Test (spreader bar, wet parking frame, pull in shackles…)
    • Mechanical Test (pressure, tensile, hardness...),
    • Mechanical dimension verification, and drawing compliance,
    • Final release,
    • Packing Inspection,
    • Visual Inspection (painting, coating).

    RESULTS & EFFICIENCY
    Each inspection has been dully and successfully performed. Reports have always been sent on time and were within client requests and needs.
  • TECHNIP - Quality Control Deputy

    Paris 2005 - 2007 CONTEXT
    The flexible pipe production plant of Technip, called Flexi-France, is based in Le Trait - Normandy.
    This plant is in charge of the flexible pipe production (from the raw material orders to the release of the complete pipe).
    Quality Control Department have to ensure the integrity of the pipe, including the document control (traceability, test results).


    TARGET
    • Be compliant with ISO 9001:2000 Standards.
    • Improve the suppliers’ quality management.
    • Support the Quality Manager.


    ACTIONS
    • Management of all the NCR’s issued by the production.
    • Review and release the Data Books.
    • Improvement of the quality implementing corrective and preventive actions.
    • Be the Quality interface with the Client for the Agbami Project.
    • Coordination of the Quality Controls sub-contracted to external inspection companies.
    • Management of the Quality Assurance and the Quality Control of the LNG flexible pipe prototype (Procedures, ITP - QP, test efficiency, Production Plan, Document review).
    • Supplier Audit following a major NCR’s.


    RESULTS & EFFICIENCY
    • Improvement of the NCR’s Management in term of organisation, on time schedule, efficiency evaluation.
    • Improvement of the Data Book review and release on due time.
    • Successfull Audit & Analyse, following a major NCR’s. The Company won and obtained compensation.
    • LNG Prototype and its relevant documentation was submited and validated by the BureauVeritas as the CVA authority.
