    Rapidly expanding the product portfolio. Working alongside production, supply chain, marketing and sales departments to delivery cutting edge, affordable and high quality consumer product innovations and speed to market.

    MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Manage the product development process from the concept phase to the post-launch phase.
    • Implement and lead a unified product development process by managing internal and external resources, across countries and functions, through to launch and post-launch product improvements.
    • Plan and deliver product designs which meet specified performance and cost criteria within development budget and timelines.
    • Lead design and off-shore engineering teams to develop innovative solutions to design challenges with constraints on cost, quality and performance.
    • Manage new product concept brainstorming meetings and manage range plans.
    • Primary liaison with the required contacts during NPD process, from artwork/design to product specifications and sample approval.
    • Select, manage and maintain relationships with high quality, professional service providers.
    • Negotiate product pricing and lead times with overseas vendors.
    • Set up style/item, barcodes and other development information in item master while updating and maintaining it.
    • Ensure the accuracy of product and packaging and manage the process and approvals.
    • Approve final product photography and ensure the catalogue/retail requirements are met.
    • Guarantee deadlines are met to obtain samples for retail.
    • Work with all sectors including QA to ensure product quality compliance issues are identified and resolved
