SUMMARY
I have over 14 years of experience in clinical research including 10 years in clinical trials and overall twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. During my professional life I worked 15 years as a medical doctor in the oncology and general surgery departments. I have also 1.5 years of international experience in neurosurgery department (University Hospital, Caen, France). I was incorporated in scientific teams (laboratory experiments, reports and publications) in Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw, finalized with PhD thesis in 1992.
Since joining pharmaceutical industry in 1993 I have been actively involved in a variety of different roles within the sector. I worked in the marketing department on a position of product manager dealing with oncology products. Since 1998 I have been working in regulatory affairs and then clinical monitoring with a variety of international clinical trial phase I-IV programs in 11 therapeutic areas including oncology, rheumatology, cardiovascular, gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, pediatrics, vaccines, gynecology and CNS. I have special experience in clinical trials management, including implementation of study protocols, on-site data management and collection.
In 2007 I moved to Line management team of PAREXEL Int. As a manager I am responsible for the oversight of a team of 20 employees, monitors and research assistants. This includes ensuring successful performance and delivery of my direct report’s project deliverables, on time with high quality. I am responsible to resource client projects with suitably developed professionals and to retain and develop these professionals within company.
