Engineer" in charge of the design and the structural calculations of two LNG tanks ("Full
Containment" - 2 * 150.000 m3).
* In charge of a fatigue study dealing with the fatigue behaviour of the membrane containment
system (Stainless Steel Technigaz' membrane) used in liquefied natural gas storage tank. The
purpose of this study was to compare the finite element model and the laboratory tests.
* Project engineering manager, in charge of a research project dealing with the dynamic pressure
exerted on wall tank under seismic events (Theoretical studies (Finite element) and laboratory
tests on shaking table). Partnership with: CEA (Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique), GTT (Gaz
Transport et Technigaz) et BV (Bureau Véritas).
* Project engineering manager, in charge of an European research project (REED's) dealing with
the seismic isolators of storage tanks (Theoretical studies (Finite element) and laboratory tests
on shaking table). Partnership with some European companies.
