The company in thailand runs two kind of activities: Trading and manufacturing.
From Production Manager, my job and responsabiities have moved to the supervision of the factory (=Factory manager) and also the supervision of key account customer for the trading business (all of them are european buyers).
Supervision of two factories. One in Thailand, oeprating with 500 persons; and one in Laos, operating with 270 persons.
Production Planning and Shipment deadlines are daily matters discussed and controlled with different department.
Of course, productivity, budget, cashflow and cost control are part of the work but one of the main concern remains human management.
