    2014 - maintenant Following the reorganization of ArcelorMittal in Europe, I am now in charge of the Credit Risk on all the european activities of ArcelorMittal... kind of a challenge !

    2010 - 2014 ArcelorMittal Long Carbone Europe.
    In addition to the direct management of the Credit Risk of the Luxemburger Commercial entities. Despite the very decentralized organization of LCE, our Segment saw the necessity, to face those difficult times, of creating this new function, to ensure a tighter and harmonized Credit Management process in all our business unit, with always the same 2 priorities : Cash Generation / limited risk.

    I would tend to define the function as being a coach, sponsor, adviser, service provider of the Business Units in their daily management of their Receivables, rather than being a controller.

    Main missions :
    • Harmonize and develop standard credit procedure within all the Business Units of the Segment
    • Design procedure for internal credit limit/ scoring
    • Sponsor Long Carbon Central Credit Committee
    • Provide credit risk solutions: follow up of Credit insurance performance and escalation of decisions with global partners (Euler, Coface, Atradius)
    • Regular follow up of Accounts Receivables with CMOs / CFOs / sales agencies

    2001 - 2010 Long Carbon Europe - Sections, Sheet Piling & Special Products
    Credit Risk Management : fix credit limits (Credit insurance or Internal limits), monitoring Receivables (BtoB, turnover 2,5/3
    Mds EUR, 1000 active customers, Europe + Export), controlling of sales contracts and financing / guarantees offered (including bank or third-party guarantee, L/C), follow up of disputes and legal proceedings (with Insurance and Legal department).

    Operating Working Capital Requirement reduction expertise : recasting of process and methods of Cash Collection, installation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), training and motivation of Sales & Logistics
