Engineer or “ingénieur” in French comes from the word “engigneor” meaning weapon builder in old French. In the middle age, when lots of war took place, those builders fulfilled the need of “modern” warfare with new ideas and “technology” they invented.
Today “genie” describes how to join process and methods for inventing innovative solutions coordinating and using the technological and technical package available.
Everything is told:
• Innovative and invention express the capability of the engineer of being creative and building things.
• Solution expresses a need, which is the base of business
• Coordination for the communication skills the engineer needs to master in order to put everything together and get the help he needs to fulfill his goals.
• Technical knowledge and technological awareness for the expertise which allow the engineer to work in a lot of different domain. The engineer is then capable to adapt whatever the task given or the challenge, the need to fulfill!
In order to become the engineer I decided to be, I chose to develop multidisciplinary skills threw my internships. I’ve worked in a lot of different branches and companies such as BMW, Accenture, and Sanofi but also in SMEs in south Germany. This, combined to the technical package in manufacturing and production I got at school in France and Germany, I managed to master a wide range of skills and developed the desire to discover new businesses, countries and markets.
Studying engineering helped me see the world from a different eye and teached me relativism, how to face difficulties and the evolution of our world. I’m a creative person, very involved in the projects I work for; I also have good communication skills and sense of well-done job so I reach my goals with credits.
In order to use my creativity and challenge my leadership I joined a start-up creation option at the University of Applied Science in Munich. There I acquired experience in Marketing, Management and Business but also in the writing of Business Cases and Business Plans. Our project and propositions won a franc success and the school supported us by offering funds and help for the development of our “company”.
Germany was a great experience for me. 3 years long I studied in the Hochschule München, in Munich where I practiced and learned the language, the culture, the expertise, my passion for robotic and everything it involves in the years to come.
I have started to work at Accenture to learn more about the methods and the seeking of performance of a big company in service. The management of projects will help me then to have a better understanding of the professional reality and will teach me how behave and work with the clients of the company.
