Lei Zhang is currently a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer in INSIDE Secure (Aix en Provence).
He worked as a research engineer in the group POPS of Institut National de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA), France (Dec. 2009- July. 2011). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse (INPT), Universite de Toulouse in 2009. He received his master degrees in Automation and Computer Science from Universite Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris VI)(2005) and INPT, Universite de Toulouse (2006), respectively. He received his engineering degrees in Automation and Computer Science from Polytech'Lille, Universite des Sciences et Technologies de Lille (2005).
His research interests include Android Architect, Internet of Things, NFC, RFID and LTE network architecture, mobile and pervasive computing, context-aware resource and mobility management in wireless networks. He participates and takes charge of several International and European projects, and develops novel architectures and mechanisms for mobility management of wireless networks, as well as NFC and RFID related management systems (architecture+softwares).
Besides, he has a deep engineering background on programing (Java, C, C++, Python, Android/Iphone/Windows Mobile, etc.), embedded system design, and network web service deployments. He has developed several softwares on wireless network management, NFC and RFID related systems in the context of several International and European projects for several industrial partners.
