2016 - 2016The internship project will focus on the isolation of novel carbohydrate enzyme from thermophilic bacteria from Icelandic thermal area. The enzyme will be isolated from E. coli and purified using chromatophaphy. Also, there will be kinetic and substrate analysis, using spectroscopy, TLC and other chemical assays.

- new process for the biomass measurement for the operator with constraint (time, equipment ...) to have a good correlation between measurement and biomass quantity
- standardisation of the biomass measurement for all the site
