Doté d’une expérience de 15 ans dans l’industrie (packaging essentiellement) sur l’Asie (Japon, Taiwan, Corée, Asie du sud-est), j’ai pu développer un savoir-faire et une expérience portant, entre autre, sur les aspects suivants:

- Prospection et vente export de produits à cycle de décision allant du court terme au long terme (de 6 mois à 3 ans et plus),

- Recherche, sélection, formation et animation d’un réseau d’agents (distributeurs ou importateurs),

- Marketing industriel et technologique (veille de concurrence, veille technologique),

- Suivis de grands comptes exigeants tant sur le plan commercial que service au client,

- Interface de communication entre des cultures différentes et des fonctions différentes (service client, B.E., Direction technique en interne, Direction industrielle, Service Ingénierie et production, Assurance qualité en externe),

- Force de proposition et de persuasion pour entreprendre des choix stratégiques, mise en action des strategies definies

- Négociation et signature de contrat de coopération divers (langue de negociation japonais et anglais): Licence de fabrication, contrat de services logistiques & portage, contrat de maintenance et d’assistance de production, etc.

- Création, management d’une petite structure proactive et multidisciplinaire, avec responsabilité dans les faits d’un P & L account.

Je suis orienté Export/ Asie de préférence dans l'industrie (Bto B et B to C). basé en Aquitaine je suis mobile géographiquement

    1999 - maintenant PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCES:

    October 1999 June 2007 SERAC JAPAN Representative Director.
    In charge of the setting up of the branch office (6 SERAC employees). After
    study of customer needs, establishment of a logistic platform to supply spare
    parts to our Japanese customers, based on a 24H /24 H 365 days a year
    availability. Latest Sales record: 12.5 million Euros in 2007.


    Field of competencies:
    Sales promotion: Follow up and management of a network of agents (training, sales and technical support, joint customer canvassing).

    Marketing: Market studies, identification of market niches, technical watch of local and foreign competitors on the Japanese and Asian markets. Power Point, Excel, Word.

    Sales: Negociations for sales contract of production lines amounting to several million of EURO each. Close follow up of key accounts like Coca Cola, Nestle, OTSUKA, ASAHI, etc. Sales area: Japan mainly, Taiwan, Hong-Kong and Korea as support to other SERAC entities.

    Management: In charge of the yearly EURO 500,000 budget of the Japanese office. Direct management of the After Sales Manager (non Japanese) and his subordinates, a sales assitant and logistic assistant (Japanese). Customer Service turnover build-up: from 50,000 to 1.5 million Euros in 7 years.

    1997 - 1999 SERAC: Group amounts to 375 employees worldwide, 190 of them based in France. Turnover of Euro 70 million. Specialized in the manufacturing and engineering of special machineries for the filling of liquid, semi-pasty or powder products.

    Double function: Product Manager and Area Manager within a sales organization of 15 people: Covering of the Asian market (Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hong-Kong, Thailand) for the sales of aspetic filling lines to soft drink makers or dairy related industries.

    March 1995/April 1997

    Technical sales and marketing. Technical watch. In charge of the follow up of a network of agents in Japan, Taiwan and Korea. In charge of the negociation of a licensing agreement for industrial equipment in Taiwan. Especially in charge of the promtion of QMC system (Quick Mold Change system dedicated to the plastic injection machines) manufactured in Germany. Sales to first rank car parts manufacturers and car makers.


    December 1993/ March 1995

    CSNE in Japan (civil form of military service) for STÄUBLI S.A. (French
    subsidiary of the Swiss group STÄUBLI):
    Sales canvassing in the plastic industry, in charge of market study over Taiwan, Korea and Japan (Korean automotive industry, Taiwanese and Japanese coupling market, Plastic industry in Taiwan). Selected and set up 2 agents in Taiwan for the quick release coupling division of STÄUBLI S.A.


    1993 September/ December

    Specific training at the quick release coupling division of STÄUBLI S.A. near Annecy (World leader of the Jacquard and dobby machines, manufacturer of industrial robots).
