• Permanent Representation Of Spain to The Council of Europe - Diplomatic Assistant

  2016 - 2016 During this internship, I had the opportunity to develop a deeper knowledge concerning the functionning of the Spanish Representation and the Council of Europe.
  - Attending meetings of Rapporteur Groups (Human Rights, Legal Affairs, Social Affairs, Cultural/Education/Youth Affairs), specialised groups (Committees of the Parties of Council of Europe Conventions and monitoring bodies), Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and European Parliament. Reporting to the diplomats or, under their supervision, to the capital.
  - Assisting diplomats in bilateral negotiations with the Secretariat of the Council of Europe.
  - Researching background data to endorse the arguments of national positions on different matters (notably on migration, terrorism, youth policy and cultural routes). Preparing notes for the file on those issues.
  - Briefing on news related to Spain.
