After a 10-year experience working for a market research agency specialized in the healthcare sector, I had the opportunity to join bioMerieux, a world leader in the field of bacteriology. So far, this experience is probing to be quite exciting and it has made me realize the key role that diagnostics play / will play in the healthcare value chain as a lever to both improve quality of care and to reduce costs for national health systems.
