Engineering Manager, hiring and building teams(from scratch too), but also ensuring that the members are growing as engineers, doing valuable work and generally having a good time as part of our team.

Software development is one of my passions and when I am coding, it comes in different flavours: Python, C++, Ruby, Javascript and even LISP.

As for methodologies, experienced leading XP and scrum teams, as well as being part of multiple different setups of agile teams.

Challenges of legacy software draws my attention and I've been helping building and scale high profile applications for global entreprises and startups.

    However I am able to say that I’m currently building/maintaining a Ruby on Rails application solution for a top car dealer company in the US -

    With a techstack of ruby, ruby on rails, elastic search, tungster, activemq, mysql, a code base with about 2 million lines of code distributed in two countries.

    Iterations, Kanban, Standups, Retrospectives, Pair programming, TDD is part of my day to day work

    At thoughtworks we take the social working as part of our journey. I’ve been involved in multiple social activities. Using technologie to help others.

    Also I’ve been teaching people and giving talks about technology in general. Frequently talks about python, regular expressions, open source, compilers, agile methodologies.

    Working at ThoughtWorks also means coaching the client developers, deployment strategies and agile practices, being a mentor of someone, giving consulting tricks.
