    In charge of 69 associates (office staff, light and heavy duty drivers, helpers) with 13 direct reports

    * Managing a team of Sourcing Specialists responsible for various logistics activities (local and international trucking with specialized equipment, sea freight, warehousing) with the aim of positioning the department as a strategic contributor to profit optimization, through advanced sourcing activities that translate into reduced total cost of ownership.
    * Managing the logistics functions of 14 MEA countries, and Far East, South Asia, Africa, through 80 procurement professionals spread in the region

    Volume of business spent: about 22 M usd per year

    Main areas of responsibilities:

    - Spend and budget analysis per category ;
    - Processes and policies development & improvement
    - Development, implementation of the new supplier management process & policies (from supplier identification and pre qualification to supplier performance evaluation & monitoring)
    - Increase collaboration with internal stakeholders though awareness sessions and establishment of cross functional sourcing committees gathering the main knowledge and decision holders of the sourced categories
    - Coach & train the sourcing specialists team to finalize the cost of internal and external negotiation (scope of work & specification internal and external negotiation, cost breakdown analysis and negotiation)
    - Risk mitigation through strong contracts preparation
    - Ensure integrity, transparency, fairness and total professionalism is achieved during sourcing exercise
    - Provide methodologies to the team to develop market and category expertise
    - Increase internal collaboration with support department for better compliance and gap identification (Finance, Audit, Risk management etc...)

    ACHIEVEMENTS: Generate various savings related to the transport activity, change of processes in the transport activity leading to savings and reliability of the transport services. Fleet maintenance and renewal, cost processes (issuance of CAPEX) .Upgrade of employees, support to the sales force leading to the acquisition of new markets share.
