Paris2009 - maintenantMy PhD focuses on HIV-1 cell-to-cell transmission mechanisms:
-I first investigated the role of cellular and viral proteins in HIV- 1 intracellular spread.
-Right now I am characterizing the effect of broad neutralizing antibodies on HIV-1 transmission and on innate immune response.
I acquired different skills in scientific field:
-Scientific expertise: virology, cellular biology and cell culture.
-Technical skills: flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, cell culture, PCR, immuno assays…
I also developed transversal skills:
-Project management through long (3 years) and short term project (8 months) and collaboration with an American team.
-Management and leadership: supervision of technicians and training of master students
-Communication: 2 Poster awards, presentation in international conferences, grant writing…
