MONTPELLIER

En résumé

Hi, my name is Marion - I am a biochemist and molecular biologist with expertise in biosensor technology (peptide and protein) and brain tumors (glioblastoma). My interest is in translational research with focus on diagnostic and new cancer therapies (from peptides to small molecules).

Skills and Techniques:

• Induction (E.Coli, DH5a and BL21), expression and purification of recombinant proteins (AKTA, batch)
• HTS of 3 small molecule libraries
• Peptide biosensors and CPP (purification, labelling and cellular uptake)
• Interaction protein-protein, protein-peptides by fluorescence assay
• Cellular biology (immortalized and primary cells from animal model)
• siRNA transfection
• Viability test (Prestoblue and MTT)
• Toxicity test (LDH assay)
• Immunofluorescence
• Confocal microscopy and time lapse video microscopy
• Flow cytometry (FACScalibur)
• Mouse model of liver cancer and neurodegenerative disease (genotyping and weaning)
• Eyebleeding
• Echography of mouse liver
• Microdissection of E16 embryo for cortical neurons
• Zebrafish (injection of morpholinos)
• RNA and DNA extraction
• ELISA
• Western blot
• PCR
• qRT-PCR
• Site directed mutagenesis
• Molecular cloning
• Sequencing
• Electrophoresis gel for digestion
• Oral & written communication (conference presentations & grant/manuscript preparation)

Software and Instrumentation:

• X!Tandem, ProteinProphet and PeptideProphet
