Mon dernier poste était ingénieur de système et chef de projet chez Verizon Business. J'étais responsable de la planification et du suivi de la capacité et la fonctionnalité du système de gestion de réseau européen pour répondre aux besoins d'affaires.
J'étais également responsable de la gestion de projet pour améliorer le système de gestion de réseau: de la conception à la mise en œuvre, les essais et la livraison - l'estimation des coûts, la budgétisation, le financement, les achats, la planification, le suivi, le contrôle, et les rapports.

J'ai 40 ans d'expérience de diriger et de gérer des équipes, dans la gestion de projets et dans le soutien des équipements électroniques sophistiqués et des systèmes informatiques à des normes de haute qualité
J'ai commencé dans la Royal Air Force pendant 10 ans où j'ai travaillé sur l'avionique pour les gros avions de transport (radio, radar, navigation et systèmes de vol).
Puis j'ai travaillé 15 ans dans l'électronique de défense (systèmes de radio, micro-ondes et de distribution de signaux).
Depuis 15 ans j'ai travaillé dans les télécommunications. Les 10 dernières années j'ai occupé les fonctions d'ingénieur de systèmes et chef de projet technique chez Verizon.

  • Airbus - Freelance Consultant - Technical Project Manager

    Blagnac 2012 - maintenant 6 month mission - extended to 18 months- Project Manager for the integration of Airbus suppliers deploying machine to machine (M2M) interface with the AirSupply logistic collaboration hub. The project to migrate 600 suppliers to AirSupply was successfully completed on time, budget and quality. I now lead run-mode deployment of new suppliers and those upgrading to M2M.
  • Verizon Business France - Systems Engineer & Projet Manager

    PUTEAUX 2006 - 2010 Note: Verizon aquired MCI Worldcom in 2006. My post was unchanged
    Responsible for development & upgrade of the European Network Management System (NMS) {A multi-layer IT system of 84 servers, 8 software applications, >80 users, managing >6,000 network elements of 15 different types}. Full life cycle from inception & design to implementation, testing and hand over - gathering business requirements, researching solutions, cost estimation, budget planning, business case justification, planning, purchasing, tracking, controlling & reporting.
    • 2008 European NMS Refresh, $780K: Improved reliability and serviceability by replacing obsolete server hardware, operating systems and updating NMS software
    • 2009/10 European End to End Provisioning, $1.8m: Enabled earlier revenue, reduced customer waiting time and cut repair costs by proposing and implementing an automated end to end provisioning system for the European network
    • 2009/10 NMS Upgrades, $2.2m: Enabled space and cost savings by upgrading European NMS to support deployment of new network functions and features
