My name is Martina Džačková. I am a 30 years old Slovakian. I have been living for 4 years in Paris and last year in Ljubljana.
In France I passed a Master’s degree in Cultural Management and in Slovakia I received my diploma of Doctor of Philosophy in History of Art.
During my study period, I worked for different cultural entities like Košice’s team for cultural capital 2013, an Irish dancing group in Košice, the Slovak Institute in Paris... At all this positions I assisted in
the organisation of cultural events, like concerts, exhibitions, plays.
In 2010, as a Cultural project coordinator in the Total Foundation, I had the opportunity to work on big exhibitions in the Louvre Museum (Saint Russia, Arabian Routs) and the Quai Branly Museum (Congo River, Dogons). In addition of these exhibitions I prepared big public relations events like private visits, cocktails, breakfast, etc. In the program of Total’s social responsibility, I prepared some special days in the Louvre museum and Versailles castle for people excluded from normal society because of language or material difficulties. To work on this project was a great experience in corporate social responsibility by culture, which showed me that art is a real universal communication system and experience with art helps to open the mind and so the different „doors“ to develop our sense of self.
In the second part of 2011 I assisted Sales and Marketing Director of GEFCO. My duty was organise meeting and travels for Director. One of priorities was to organise one day meeting with team building activities for all sales employees of GEFCO International.
Since 2012, I leave in Ljubljana where I start like translator in Slovene company Zlittech. Today, I am Manager of Hanna’s Atelier for Sonorous Arts. My responsibility is an international development, negotiation and organisation of travels and performances.
