My main operational responsibility in AXA is to deliver the program that will transform the operations of the P&C retail business in Belgium. The program focuses on all the needed components such as: Change management, organization setup, Application/IT delivery, business processes, capabilities and finance. The IZI program delivers a new policy administration system, with a new database and a new Front End for the Brokers and for the Operators, integrated with a new Product Factory solution. The scope of the current phase is Legal Protection and Car. Subsequent phases will address the other aspects of the P&C retail business. The program will generate benefits by
• improving the loss ratio through a sophisticated pricing,
• reducing the IT and Back office costs due to process simplification;
• increasing revenues through broker satisfaction and reduced time to market
• reducing the operational risks related to quotation, underwriting and billing
• simplifying and standardizing the product and contract definition and implementation
• reducing the time to market
I am managing a budget of about 45 Million Euro. The program employs persons from several organizations (AXA, TCS onshore, TCS offshore in Kolkatta and Chennai, AXA Tech, Deloitte and other providers). I report to the AXA Belgium CEO.
The application is targeted to support more than 1000 concurrent users with response time lower than 3 sec (95%). The expected volume is expected to between 10000 and 15000 hourly contract operations.
Technical environment: MS Silverlight, TCS Bancs, Oracle and J2EE.
