My experience in the energy sector during these last five years can be observed by my involvement in several studies with private sector, civil society, partners of development and international organisations : (i) Study about willingness to pay for solar lanterns by Cameroonians rural households, study lead by Light4all Cameroon ; (ii) Writing an argument base advocacy about reduction of the costs of water and electricity, with the support of EU ; (iii) Economic and financial analysis of renewable energy projects (promotion of private investments in the rural electrification, by renewable energy) ; (iv) Economic and financial analysis for the climate change adaptation study, with the support of UNDP ; (v) Economic feasibility study for dissemination of solar lanterns in off-grid zones, with SNV-Cameroon; (vi) Development of financials tools and micro credit mechanisms to facilitate access to solar energy for low income households, with GIZ-Cameroon ; (vii) Economic feasibility study for SAWA BEACH project.
I am competent on : (i) Economic and financial analysis of renewable energy projects : hydro power ; biomass energy and solar ; (ii) Climate change (vulnerability, mitigation, adaptation) ; (iii) Development of energy software ; (iv) Development of economic, econometric and financial models; (v) Analysis and demand forecasting in the energy sector ; (vi) Development of technical and financial offers ; (vii) Project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation; (viii) Set up of clean energy projects with RETScreen : energy model ; costs analysis; emissions analysis; financial analysis; sensitivity analysis; risk analysis; (ix) Renewable energy finance.
