En résumé

After my Petroleum Engineering Degree at the IFP-School, I have joined SBM Offshore for an Operation Engineer job.
I was in rotation between Angola and Monaco offices which allow me both to work both on the field side and office/engineering side of the company.

I had then been transfered to the Houston office to work as a Project Engineer for the decommisionning of the same FPSO.

I am currently working as a Construction Engineer on different Brownfield projects in Brazil, Africa and Gulf of Mexico.

  • Sbm Offshore - Construction Engineer

    SCHIEDAM 2015 - maintenant Prepare Fabrication and Offshore Installation scopes of work and RFQ packages for structural, piping, E&I, ICSS and commissioning activities
    • Prepare Advanced Work Packs (AWP) and schedule for the whole construction scope on Brownfield projects. Project duration between 6 and 24 months
    • Suppliers selection, Technical Bid Evaluation, Kick Off Meeting, logistics and fabrication follow-up, material certificates and other key documents (NDT, Hydrotest, WPS, PQR…) review, Inspection release certificate sign off, preservation plan and
    • Work in close relation with client (Shell, Petrobras, Exxon) on interfaces (subsea, commercial, safety…). Help with Hazid & Hazop preparation when needed.
    • Working offshore with both construction foreman and operation crew to develop detailed isolation plan, plant shutdown needs, Task Risk Assessment (TRA)
    • Supervision of offshore subcontractors to ensure schedule and budget are kept in track. Analyse Daily Time Sheet and reconciliation of data Budget vs Actual vs offshore progress.

  • SBM Offshore - Decommissioning Engineer

    SCHIEDAM 2013 - 2015 - Leading scopes of work for riser pigging, cleaning, NORM removal, disconnection and towing
    - Suppliers selection, schedule, logistics to be prepared at the end of production
    - Work in close relation with clent on interfaces (subsea, commercial, safety…)
    - Preparing budget for cleaning and disconnection of the FPSO (50 M$)
    - Working closely with offshore to provide clear schedule
    - Working offshore to develop detailed construction and cleaning procedures
    - Follow up of offshore subcontractors to ensure that schedule and budget are kept in track
    - Working with Angolan authorities and specialized about NORM (radiaoctive sludge) contamination issues
    - Preparing the FPSO for ocean tow

    I have now been transfered to the Houston office to work as a Project Engineer for the decommisionning of the same FPSO.

  • SBM Offshore - FPSO / Operations Engineer

    SCHIEDAM 2010 - 2013 - Assist and support the offshore crew for all operational / technical / engineering issues and projects relating to the FPSO
    - Preparation and monitoring of the operating budgets (115M$/year) and investment plans
    - Ensure the necessary Engineering-Procurement-Construction (EPC) assistance from internal departments and appropriate suppliers, classification societies etc.
    - Participating actively to HAZID/HAZOP in subsea, risers, process, topside fields
    Achievements:
    - Installation and commissioning of new gas riser (30m$ project)
    - Reduction by 800k$/y offload delay penalties due to pumps vibration
    - Offshore installation & commissioning of Amine Plant(18m$ project)
    - Reliability of production came from 92% to 98% in 18 months which lead to 300k$ bonus for SBM offshore
    - Replacement of several corroded pipes, stairs, ladders for 35M$
    - Installation of H2S permanent detection system, improve safety of people on board

  • Total Raffinerie de Provence - Stagiaire

    COURBEVOIE 2008 - 2008 Stagiaire Contrôle de Performance:
    Recherche des causes de pertes dans la raffinerie (consommation de fuel gaz, pipe partagés avec les concurrents, fuites)
    Réalisations: Réduction de 1,3% de la consommation de fuel gaz de la raffinerie
