Head of AIRBUS A330 - A340 Ground Test Design Department (30 persons) on A330 / A340 Final Assembly Line
My mission is to manage a team of 30 persons in charge of the testing of all A/C systems (Avionic, Cabin & Cargo). My team performs:
• A330-A340 Electrical and Pipes connection Verification on new produced long-range aircraft,
• A330-A340 Aircraft Systems Tests on new produced long-range aircraft,
• A330-A340 Manufacturing Test Tools Design,
• A350 ground test design project implementation
Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and A/C Test Management:
• Define A/C Ground Test Strategy and Test architecture for all A330/A340 systems
• Work with all Airbus Design Office (Center Of Competence) and Airbus Section Manufacturer (Center Of Expertise) in order to optimize ground testing in term of time and costs impact on the manufacturing process with the same level of quality
• Establish the quality rules and survey their applicability through risk analysis method
• A350: Manage Final Assembly Line tests requirements integration in A350 high level specifications
• Implement lean methods (Kaizen, Six Sigma)
Team Management:
• Organize & plan team activities focusing on team spirit and taken into account people evolution need
• Establish the forecast budget and control the costs
• Define & manage sub-contractor work-package (10 persons)
From 2008 to 2009, I am responsible for Airframe systems perimeter (10 persons) under Airbus France, Airbus UK & Airbus Spain Responsibility (ATA 20, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 36, 45, 46, 49, 7x)
From 2003 to 2008, I am responsible for Cabin & Cargo systems perimeter (10 persons) under Airbus Germany Responsibility (ATA 21, 23, 25, 26, 30, 33, 35, 38, 46, and 52). During these 5 years, I developed expertise of IFE, CIDS, Connectivity systems (TV on Boad, ALNA AIRBUS system) & more generally all cabin & Cargo systems. I work closely with Airbus Germany design office.
