    Self management, self motivating role in which daily, monthly targets are set, since starrting with Ricochet I have hit 75% of targets set, won salesperson of the month 4 times and was the first employee in the history of the company to hit 4 consecutive targets, the magazine Abode2 has made extensive changes with regards to growth due to my efforts, including introducing an extra edition annually and increasing circulation, achieving measurable growth.

    2013 - 2015 I started my employment working as a telephone sales executive and quickly increased revenues, making long lasting and trusted relationships with my customer. This entailed providing them with a product that would increase brand awareness and allow return of investments ensuring repeat business for the company. Shortly after my employment I was requested to move territory to a news title that was failing to bring in weekly forecasts. Since moving titles I have endeavoured to create business to business relationships and have increased weekly revenue income. I display a very challenging sales technique which allows the customer to have insight on why advertising will always benefit their business in an era where print sales are declining. I have often been shadowed by new employees as management describe me as a key player within the sales environment.
    My enthusiasm for the products I work with allow the customer to view the publications in question in a more positive light and although occasionally faced with a no, I can almost manipulate the client to see why this product is imperative to the growth of both their business and brand awareness. I currently work with a diverse client base consulting with a range of products (Print titles, Digital media, magazines, ultra local news) to boost the clients productivity.

    2012 - 2013 Excel Telemedia offered a unique opportunity in which clients can converse with telephone operators such as myself covering generic subjects, I find within this role I utilise many of my former sales techniques as I have to cater the call to the clients individual needs for customer satisfaction, personal achievement within the company and of course with company profitability always in mind, I receive great reviews from customers and always a satisfactory review from my superiors. This was a very targeted role in which I always fulfil to above company averages.
  • Parker Randall Ltd - Sales executive

    2008 - 2011 travelled to Dubai during a sabbatical; I secured employment mainly acquiring new contracts for a business within the Information Technology sector (VoIP) which is in direct comparison with Skype. In my employment history this was the most challenging and rewarding experience to date, conversing on a regular basis with well established, successful, almost elite companies. This role enhanced my sales technique and confidence tremendously.

    2006 - 2008 during my time at Media Wales, selling advertising space Digital and print, to create opportunity for the customers' business to progress, I had a regular customer base combined with a daily target of gaining new business, and I arranged and maintained monthly successful advertising platforms in local and national newspapers, providing a specific target audience for my customers. During my employment within this field I undertook various training courses, further enhancing my strategy as a sales person. Within this role I quickly honed in on my natural sales ability and efficiently creating rapport with clients and securing sales closures.
  • Bay Industrial Services Ltd - Admin / Sales

    1999 - 2006 During my role at Bay Industrial I undertook various administrative tasks, conversed with major companies such as P&O ferries and Cunard Ferries. I handled time sensitive contracts and sourced new business via regular monitored cold calling, this was an independent business which eventually went into liquidation, hence my departure from the company.
