En résumé

After a rewarding experience of 7-year at Amadeus (the leading supplier of fare distribution and IT solutions in the travel industry) and two years leading an international project at New Times , I want to take a step forward to use my knowledge, to extend my competence fields and to access to new responsibilities. I have a proven ability to adapt to multicultural environments developed on my university studies abroad, trough work experience in a multinational company and between 2011 and 2012 on a 10-month trip around the world on my own.

  • New Times Informatique Industrielle - Software Development Engineer

    2012 - maintenant Leader of an international project for one of our clients in Germany, BRAHMS – ThermoFischer. ThermoFischer develops a robot that checks bacterial presence on patient blood in hospital urgencies premises.
    * Objective: Develop a Qualification software allowing to validate the robot operational state
    * Responsibilities:
    - Project Management (3 different companies involved), Client Communication;
    - Specification / Design / Coding / Testing / Maintenance;

  • ASTEK / Amadeus - Software Development Engineer

    2004 - 2011 Contractor in the Pricing and Shopping Platform division, in the Database Access and Database Engineering teams. I have been in charge of Software specification, design, development and implementation in C and SQL on Unix/Linux platforms, communicating with an Oracle Database. Development of different brand new products proposed by Amadeus to its Airline customers, such as:
    Fare Quote Database Re-Engineering Project
    * Objective: Migration from an Unisys/RDMS/TIP system to an Unix/Oracle system
    * Responsibilities: Specification / Design / Coding / Testing / Maintenance
    - Batch programs to integrate the data sent by providers into the system;
    - Transactional tool to display and update the data;
    - Data Migration from TIP to Oracle.

    Vendors Purge – Automatization for Database cleanup
    * Objective: Optimize Pricing speed, improving data accuracy and accessibility by an automatic database cleanup process.
    * Responsibilities: Specification / Design / Coding / Testing / Maintenance
    - Rethinking of an existing process and analysis of impact on
    current process
    - Define a brand new process allowing more accurate data, by purging the no more referenced items in the database.
    - Understanding, team-working and customer orientation skills to provide software matching the client’s requirements.

  • Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina UFSC (NPD Lab), Florianopolis (Brazil) - Software developer – Master Thesis on VoIP

    2003 - 2004 Prototype implementation of the IP Telephony. Development of a Gateway to achieve the VoIP implementation in the University enclosure, allowing the communication between different telephonic systems (H.323, SIP and PSTN). Website: http://voip.npd.ufsc.br/
