Ensure the planning and systematic progress monitoring of the project in term of time, activities
and resources used to support the project manager in the identification of corrective and preventive
actions, and possible re-planning.
Responsibility:
Support the Estimates area in the preparation of project plans;
Take part in Kick-Off meeting with the client and in periodic project meetings;
Develop the initial project work program (Baseline) and assist in the preparation of the
supply plan;
Support Project Manager responsible for the definition of difference activities sequences
(Reticular, the estimated resource requirements, complying with the contractual delivery;
Prepare all the necessary tolls (work-packages) for proper monitoring of the project
progress;
Define the criteria for measuring the progress of the various phase of the project
(engineering, procurement, construction) and relevant weights of activities for determining
the overall progress;
Periodically monitor all the activities on the physical progress of individual activities,
supervise the activities of temporal variance analysis of the project and contribute to the
determination of final estimates;
Analyze the consequences of delays and/or modifications to the baseline caused by the
customer and/or suppliers and sub-contractor, as well as generated by the project
management;
Monitor the parameters related to the productivities of suppliers, sub-contractor in
collaboration with the Cost controller the make best estimates activity duration to
completion;
Propose corrective and preventive actions where the date of completion of the project or the
various milestones (internal and contractual) differ from the planned date;
Develop and issue reports of project planning and control of internal and end customers in
collaboration with the Cost Controller;
Support the contract administrator involved in the preparation of Claim/Project Change
Proposal; Work with Project Manager in the preparation of project close-out reports;
Support the project services in the preparation of workloads and resources of the business
areas involved in the project;
Create, using SAP, the RDA for the materials needed for the project;
