  * Prepared feasibility study for a new sugar factory outside the UAE and visited sites across countries to determine best location. ;
  * Inspected and evaluated project scope in terms of making the best factory layout. ;
  * Prepared preliminary and final design plans including detailed machinery/latest technology for an efficient plant. ;
  * Led the development of factory costing, justification, installation and start-up of new processes along with factory plans. ;
  * Provided work directions on marketing and finance subjects. ;
  * Successfully produced a blueprint from start to finishing stage within the budget and on time ;

  2000 - 2007 sugar refinery, exporting to over 50 countries and employing 800+ staff
  * Successfully handled activities relating to production, projects and maintenance with defined Key Performance Parameters. ;
  * Coordinated operations in the absence of the GM, duly authorising and implementing comprehensive maintenance and safety programs to increase reliability of equipment. ;
  * Implemented methodologies to ensure continuous process improvement and team building. ;
  * Most of the projects were successful and internally designed and executed. ;
  * Inspected and evaluated engineering projects and liaised with external party on quality system issues. ;

  * Successfully managed new developments and handled maintenance functions with specific Key Performance Indices. ;
  * Coordinated with management and employees while working on multiple projects. ;
  * Undertook preventive maintenance and developed standard work layout to enhance safety, quality and productivity. ;

  1996 - 1999 * Served as an in-charge of capacity expansion project of the sugar refinery and performed all assigned responsibilities. ;
  * Implemented continuous process improvement program with in-house resources and purchased only few designs from abroad. ;
  * Prepared weekly minutes of meetings and progress reports. ;
  * Implemented lean methods and handled various continuous process improvement processes to create the most efficient refinery in the world. ;
  * Contributed to increasing refinery capacity from 2400T/day to 7200T/day utilising in-house teamwork and resources. ;
  * Introduced best practices in construction work and successfully met stringent quality standards to execute the capacity expansion of the refinery.
  
  Overall Achievements
  
  * Effectively led the team of continuous process improvement and reduced the power consumption by 30% from the initial design by analysing the process and eliminating many pumping stations. ;
  * Successfully redesigned existing equipment (Dryer) and executed job in-house. ;
  * Reduced the process breakdown to less than 1% of the running time by forming a maintenance team and system. ;
  * Enabled the company to receive an ISO Accreditation, Dubai Quality award. ;
  * Increased the factory capacity from 2400 MT/day to 6500 MT/day - all in-house engineering and execution - by redesigning equipment, removing bottle necks and making the correct decision. ;

  1992 - 1995 * Executed the piping work for the fire fighting system of two power stations (Jebel Ali power Station under Siemens and Taweelah B under ABB SAE Sadelmi in Abu Dhabi) as per the specific Key Performance Matrices (KPMs). ;
  * Planned and delegated all tasks, established excellent relationships with the owner and executed successfully. ;
  * Played a focal role and contributed to tripling the project income from AED2.4M to 7.2M within the same time frame utilising the same number of staff. ;
  * Involved in various engineering improvement processes.

  * Increased the project income from 2.4 Million AED/5month to 7.2 Million AED/5month and assigned further jobs. ;
