Euler Hermes is the largest global provider of trade credit insurance. We assist companies by protecting one of their most significant assets, their account receivables, against bankruptcy and slow payment by their domestic and international customers. This also includes political risk protection.

Thirteen years ago, I joined Euler Hermes as Personal Assistant to the Group Commercial Director. I then had the opportunity to join the Group Risk Underwriting team on the eve of the Global Financial Crisis and to live these events from within the team. This was a unique experience of crisis management where I learned a lot from human relationships and behaviors (at that time, Euler Hermes had € 900 billion of exposure). In 2010, I was promoted as Executive Assistant to the Board Member in charge of Finance which allowed me to discover new areas of competencies such as investors’ relationship, corporate secretariat and the famous Loch Ness monster: Solvency 2. Today, feeling privileged for having met over the years so many highly talented colleagues and financial analysts, I’m happy to be back in Underwriting as Executive Assistant to the Board Member and to be part of the team which monitors on a daily basis the evolution of the world economy, world trade and solvency of corporates worldwide.

    Beyond the classical tasks assigned to these positions, I have been responsible for many transversal roles / projects, such as:

    - compilation of the weekly underwriting reporting and analysis for the Group Board of Management.
  • Ernst & Young - Executive Assistant to the Partner in charge of M&A activities

    Courbevoie 1999 - 2004 Personal assistant to the Partner in charge of the M&A department.
    In this position I had the opportunity to live the creation of the M&A department and its growth from 10 to 150 staff. My tasks included:
    - the review and analysis of the sales reporting and balance scorecard,
    - training the staff and adminsitrative assistants to the invoicing system,
    - the ever increasing complexity of the floor planning,
    - the management of a pool of 5 assistants.
  • Transports Edouard Dubois & Fils - Executive Assistant to the Deputy General Manager

    1998 - 1999 Executive Assistant to the Deputy General Manager in charge of International Development.
    In this position, I had the opportunity to live and learn from the progress of a French Company in its international development.
    My contributions were:
    - support the Deputy General Manager in his efforts to develop a network of independant companies competing against international integrated networks such as Calberson,
    - monitor the business reportings supporting the above strategy,
    - support the ISO9001 Qualification Program.
  • DHL International - Personal Assistant to the Agency Director and Sales Assistant

    1997 - 1998 Personal assistant to the Agency Director of Paris Nord 2 (200 drivers).
    In this position I had the opportunity to confirm my negotiation skills with large customers. My tasks included :
    - manage the agenda of the Agency Director,
    - establish quotes for large customers,
    - prepare corresponding contracts.
  • LEP International - Personal Assistant to the Manager in charge of the Fairs and Exhibitions department

    1993 - 1997 Personal assistant to the Manager in charge of the Fairs and Exhibitions department (team of 10 people).
    In this position, I learnt to:
    - target prospects and do cold calling,
    - quote and issue sales proposal,
    - monitor the after-sales.
