As Technical and Quality Control Manager in a Chemistry industry, I lead operations related to my company.
I started working with my company in a singular manner. While going through job interview the company President shows me a bare land with nothing but grass and rabbits. While showing me this piece of land, he told me “this is where you are going to work”. This was a great challenge to build a startup with the support of a global organization.
I was chiefly involved in competitive-edge product design, in cost-down strategies and in achieving flexible responses to our customers. To accomplish these goals I dealt with suppliers, customers and associates (global and local). I reported to the President and business unit Director. I directly managed a 6-person team.
I mainly respond to plan cost-down strategies, select suppliers, identify raw materials, develop and design products, support sales, define production processes, assure quality control, manage abnormalities and crisis, lead various internal projects and identify new development opportunities.
