  • Shell du Maroc and Shell UK - Global Sales to Business Customers Compliance Lead

    2009 - maintenant Lead the StBC Compliance review and ensure end-to-end process is well conducted. The main StBC activities that I performed during my current assignment are:
    - Conduct StBC communication sessions prior to the on-site review to explain the objective of the review, scope, process, expected deliverables and sessions to be conducted and agree on the focal points, data preparation & timeline
    - Provide support and help the Compliance Focal Points put in place a clear process to conduct self-assessment
    - Lead StBC data preparation & analysis for all countries that will implement SAP as per the agreed timeline. Analysis conducted based on the Global offer book and the StBC Policy guidelines.
    - Conduct the review and advise the area of improvement and share best practices from previous Reviews
    - Prepare the closeout reports for the StBC area and share the findings with the management team to ensure identified gaps are closed before SAP Go-Live.
    - Ensure continuous improvement of the Review process and deliverables by seeking feedback after each review
    - Develop an analysis tool that helps the OU identify the area of focus to close the identified gaps
    - Introduce a clear milestone on StBC policies for Business Readiness Reviews
    - Ensure alignment with the policy and the scope of the StBC review

    The countries I conducted the review for are: Turkey, France, Italy, UK (International Aviation and Marine), CEE (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia) and Russia, India, UAE/Oman and Canada.

    Short-term international assignment in UK for 3 months starting from January 2010:
    Develop the network for my new role
    Conduct the StBC review for France, Turkey and Italy
    Identify the mechanism to track the StBC Process Efficiency using an automated tool
    Develop the automated tool to measure the StBC Process Efficiency for all Countries that will implement SAP or already using SAP
  • Shell du Maroc - Operational Excellence Coordinator North Africa

    2006 - 2009 Cost management:
    -Develop and use tracking tools to ensure operating expenses in North Africa are accurate and correct misallocations. Support plant managers in using this tool.
    -Follow up and advise new cost reduction initiatives (PIMS, TIM WOOD, etc.) based on the best practices identified through the global operational excellence team
    -Help plant managers in preparing their investment proposals and Master plans and ensure follow up on capital expenditure in Africa to meet global requirements.

    Project Management:
    -Managed the Africa Business Continuity Plan (BCP) project with the Envelope Planning Manager. The objective was to identify risks and potential mitigation options, clarify roles and responsibilities and agree on steps enabling BCP sustainability. Lubricants Supply Chain VP and Sales Europe and Africa VP endorsed the high level recommendations.
    Managed GSAP BCP implementation in South Africa. This covers putting in place manual fallback procedures (MFPs) to use in case of system outage during GSAP implementation. Follow up with the team on the training and testing of the MFPs
    -Drive the implementation of Slow Moving Products project: Developed a report to identify the Slow Moving Products and ensure regular follow up on agreed action plan with Sales and Supply Chain team to reduce this stock. This tool can be used in all UMOJA countries. Currently used in North Africa.
